In 1992 Cédric Asséo lived for 8 months in Guinea Conakry where
he played with leading percussionists (Fadouba Oularé, Gbanworo Keïta,
Mamady Keïta, Famoudou Konaté) During this time Cédric Asséo met
flutist Mamady Mansaré (Ballets Africans) who introduced him
to the roots of Mandingue music, roots which will influence his new
style of music, colourful, subtle and of mixed race.
